Thats not how child support works 🤦🏾♂️ its about the child not the mother so if the court thinks the child needs more money they will grant the child more money.
She has various avenues to petition the court for more support especially if his income goes up. If their child needs medical care beyond the typical needs of a child she can ask for help. I’m sure he’s paying for the kid’s health insurance. If they decide to send the child to private school – she can ask for more help.
Honestly I applaud him for it. When he said he didn’t want a kid, you made a choice. Don’t use your kid as a way to get $, but be satisfied that he gave you that much..now it’s up to you to accommodate your lifestyle in order to financially set your child up for success.
