Travis Kelce Talks About the Effect Taylor Swift’s Music Taste Has on Him

Travis Kelce is impressed by Taylor Swift’s ability to examine and pull from numerous music genres, and that talent has left an indelible effect on the three-time Super Bowl winner. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar opened up to ET’s Nischelle Turner about how the Midnights singer’s musical taste has influenced him since dating the pop star, saying that watching a musical genius at work has been nothing short of an eye-opening experience for the self-proclaimed music junkie.

“It’s definitely been fun to experience her taste in music, for sure,” Kelce adds. And discovering her creativity, as well as how she
listens to music, has been eye-opening for me. It’s been entertaining to hear her thoughts on it.” Her music has undoubtedly influenced him, and his pals are well aware of this.

“Man, I’ll tell you what. The London shows, I think she’s at Wembley eight times, which is mind-blowing that she can do that many shows in one stadium and fill that thing up,” Kelce gushed. “I played at Wembley once and I don’t even think we filled that thing up.” Swift, who later this month is dropping her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, will perform at London’s 90,000-seat-Wembley Stadium on June 21-23 and then again on Aug. 15-19. Every show is sold out. Meanwhile, Kelce and the Chiefs played the Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium in November 2015. But while the Chiefs trampled the Lions, 45-10, in that London

showcase, they couldn’t sell out the game, drawing only 83,624.

“She’ll be all over Europe,” Kelce added. “There won’t be a bad show, I promise you that.”
