Take a First Look Inside Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ 1587 Prime Steakhouse

Here’s what to expect when the Kansas City-based establishment opens on Sept. 17

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are revving up for their 1587 Prime Steakhouse grand opening, and PEOPLE has a first look at the Kansas City-based steakhouse.

As football season has officially begun, the Kansas City Chiefs teammates’ highly anticipated eatery is opening its doors on Sept. 17.

The contemporary steakhouse was created by the hospitality group Noble 33 and its founders, Tosh Berman and Mikey Tanha. It promises to bring bold culinary flavors and an immersive design experience to Kelce, 35, and 29-year-old Mahomes’ favorite city.

Thoughtful details went into the design, such as a grand entrance with a narrowing tunnel that emulates the dramatic walk into a world-class stadium.

However, the location was also crafted to show customers what to expect during their dining experience, such as large, refrigerated displays that showcase premium dry-aged cuts that will be featured on the menu.

“With 1587 Prime, we didn’t just set out to create another steakhouse. We worked with Patrick and Travis to capture the essence of Kansas City — its pride, its hospitality, and its passion for great food — while staying true to Noble 33’s brand vision and design aesthetic,” Berman said in a statement.
Executive chef Ryan Arnold is behind the curated selection of elevated steakhouse classics, ranging from a Japanese A5 NY Strip and Boneless Ribeye to the 40 oz Wagyu Tomahawk served tableside.

Steaks come with an assortment of compound butters and sauces, with the option for lobster tail, crab, bone marrow and blue cheese on top.

Other menu highlights include the Steak Tartare, which features hand-cut wagyu, egg yolk, truffle aioli, crispy capers and shallot with toasted sourdough; and the 1587 Twice Baked Potato, which consists of smoked gouda, creme fraîche, beef bacon, chives and black truffle.

Noble 33 beverage director Juan Carlos Santana is behind selections such as the Kingdom Come — Casamigos blanco, 400 Conejos, Pierre Ferrand dry curacao, absinthe, fluffy orange and pomegranate; plus the Showtime, which includes aged rum blend, toasted coconut, coffee, Coors Light syrup and lime soda.
