BREAKING News:Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Seen in Philadelphia During First Public Spotting in Almost 2 Months

on

The singer and the Kansas City Chiefs player, both 35, were spotted at Talula’s Garden in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 11, according to fan photos shared online.

The outing marked the first time that the couple — who began dating in 2023 — has been seen during a public outing in almost two months. Swift and Travis were last seen entering a New York City restaurant on March 14, in photos obtained exclusively by PEOPLE.

For their latest outing, the “Blank Space” singer wore a black tank top that she accessorized with a matching black purse. Travis, meanwhile, wore a cream-colored shirt. His longer-than-normal hair, which he has been sporting amid the NFL offseason, could also be seen in the fan photographs.

Swift and Travis have both been enjoying some downtime following the end of the athlete’s NFL season and the singer’s Eras Tour.

“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source told PEOPLE in April. “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”

The insider also said that the stars are “very serious and in sync,” adding: “They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight.”

Swift and Travis did not attend the Met Gala this year, as many fans had hoped they would. The couple did receive an invitation to the fashion event, but they had to decline due to their respective schedules, sources told TMZ.
During a special Mother’s Day episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, released on May 7, Travis and his mom, Donna Kelce, spoke about the athlete’s offseason.

At one point, Donna, 72, commented on Travis looking more tan than usual, presumably from his ongoing offseason travels with girlfriend Swift, stating, “You look a little dark, Trav. You have a tan?”

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced that it will withhold $40.6 million in federal funding from California, citing the state’s failure to fully enforce a rule requiring commercial truck drivers to demonstrate English proficiency. According to federal law, truck drivers must be able to read road signs, respond to official inquiries, and complete paperwork in English. The DOT argues that California’s existing licensing system does not adequately ensure that all drivers meet these requirements. In response, California officials assert that their system already complies with federal standards. This penalty affects California’s ability to receive reimbursements for truck safety programs, including inspections and enforcement activities, under the Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program.
