Back in October 2023, Kayla Nicole shared a heartfelt revelation about how embracing therapy got her through her breakup.
Nicole, who had an on-again and off-again relationship with Travis Kelce, relaunched her fitness Tribe Therepe to provide to help those who cannot afford therapy, which she admitted is a “luxury.”
She is now embarking on a journey of reflection and growth and wants to help others traversing similar challenging terrains in the landscape of love and loss. Taking to her
Instagram fitness guru asked her followers on her story, “Go to first date questions… (I’ll answer if it’s juicy🤭)”. Out of the several followers who responded to her story, she shared answers to a few of them. One curious follower asked, “After my ex I’m so scared to go on dates bc of the trauma of that relationship, any advise?”
Kayla dished out some sage advice and said, “Never let an old an old flame burn twice. You’ve suffered enough. You deserve happiness. Move forward with faith knowing the wisdom you’ve gained along the way will guide you through this next chapter. Take the leap and enjoooooyyy!!!!!”
Nicole broke up with Chiefs tight end Kelce in 2022 after an on-and-off relationship for five years. In her 2023 interview with PEOPLE, she talked about therapy helping her navigate a challenging phase in her life. She said, “I’m so thankful for therapy because had I not done that, I don’t know how I would be reacting in the moment right now. No clue.”
But realizing that everyone cannot afford therapy she started a new chapter with Tribe Therepe with her intention being “to provide just almost, like, a therapy resource for people that doesn’t require any money.”
While she didn’t advocate for staying away from relationships on account of one failed one, Kayla Nicole did say to apply the wisdom gleaned from that one. But Nicole, for one it seems, is almost done dating athletes after dating Travis Kelce.
